WHERE TO GO IN ITALY?
If you are planning to go to Italy be sure to choose the right period according to what you prefer to do (i.e. sea resorts from June to October in the South while it is preferred to wait for the warmest months to reach the Ligurian, Tuscan, Emilian and The Marches coasts).
Secondly remember that there are too many things to see in Italy so forget to try and visit Venice, Milan, Florence, Pisa and maybe Naples in only one week. Believe me it doesn't worth the while!!
The best suggestion I feel to give you is to concentrate on a region or two depending on your preference and depending where you are.
For a romantic holiday a good option is to combine Venice, Verona and some cute villages on Lake Garda (Malcesine - a little fortress at the foot of Mount Baldo, Limone del Garda - a paradise for Windsurfers, Desenzano - the trendy village at the bottom of the lake). If you are in the centre of Italy surely Tuscany in the whole will give you unforgettable moments because, a part from the beautiful monuments you can visit in Florence, Pisa, Siena or Lucca have a look at the landscapes in Volterra, San Gimignano and Garfagnana and you will fall in love with this land and its nature for the rest of your life!
If you are keener on fashion and tan a great match are Milan, Brescia and Lake Garda or Milan and the Ligurian coast (Genoa, The Cinque Terre, Portofino, etc.) or the Emerald Coast in Sardinia.
Art, sun and sea, nature, and good food can be found in every single corner of the country … only remember to choose the right period for the right activity!
